Bespoke modular construction specialist Elite Systems has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Modular Building Solutions RM6014 framework.
The framework aims to replace The Modular Buildings Framework, RM875, which expired in September 2015 and of which Elite was a member, successfully delivering many projects during that time.
Elite Systems has been named as a supplier on the framework – Lots 1 to 3, which focus exclusively on education and healthcare, and Lot 5, which is for the supply of modular building solutions for all other sectors, such as housing, defence, commercial and retail.
The Cleckheaton-based off-site construction company has a strong record of delivering cost-effective, high-quality buildings for the public sector, providing both temporary and permanent solutions for education, healthcare, commercial use, and has recently developed a modular housing offering too.
Through the framework, Elite Systems will have the opportunity to bid for projects worth millions of pounds over the next four years.
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2017/18, CCS delivered £354 million in commercial benefits including savings for central government, and £247 million for the wider public sector - helping to deliver world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
Crucially, the framework covers the hire or purchase of buildings, with Elite Systems well placed to offer lease-funding agreements through its partner organisation Axis Lease Management.
Commenting on the appointment, Elite Systems’ managing director Marcus Sutcliffe said: “Winning a place on the CCS modular buildings framework is a great achievement for a company of our size and is testament to the hard work undertaken by our business development team. As a bespoke modular buildings specialist we’re well placed to offer an alternative to the standard ‘one size fits all’ approach taken by some of the larger modular buildings providers.
“We’re looking forward to getting involved in what will be some very exciting projects; with our lease funding options our offering is more flexible than ever before, and I’m sure that there will be plenty of scope for us to showcase our capability as part of the framework agreement.”
