Tremco’s SX302 MT Smoothing Compound has been put to the test on one of East London’s largest regeneration projects, helping to transform over 8,000m² of student accommodation at Hallsville Quarter, Canning Town.
Part of a major residential development led by Bouygues UK, the project demanded fast installation, consistent quality, and durable performance. To meet these requirements, Flooring Co Ltd turned to Tremco’s newly formulated SX302 MT – designed to combine advanced flow properties with strength and reliability across large-scale environments.
SX302 in Action – Smoothing the Way for Student Living
Applied extensively throughout the apartments, SX302 MT was specified for its ability to:

While SX302 was the primary product installed, it formed part of a fully compatible Tremco flooring system supplied by Likewise London, which also included:
- ES600 Moisture Vapour Suppressant – providing reliable protection against residual subfloor moisture.
- SX100 Waterproof Tanking Compound – safeguarding plant and tanking areas against water ingress.
Together, the system ensured durability and long-term performance across all project areas, with SX302 at the core of the student living spaces.
