Industry News

STANLEY Security, one of the most trusted names in security and responsible for securing thousands of schools worldwide, is pleased to announce the return of its ‘Together for Safer Education’ competition which gives nurseries, schools and colleges the opportunity to win up to £10k in security products and services.

Entering your nursery, school or college couldn’t be easier; simply register at www.stanleysecurity.co.uk/safer-schools.  Once your entry has been approved, you will receive a unique URL to allow people to vote for you.  Winners are selected based on the number of votes, so be sure to share the URL with parents, teachers, students and your community to generate the maximum number of votes.  Voting is open until 12pm on 31st January 2019, with winners announced 5th February.

Even if you’re not one of the lucky ones to win up to £10k in security products and services, each nominated school can benefit from a free, no obligation security site survey and will automatically receive a 15% discount on STANLEY Security products and services implemented before 30th June 2019.

Competition entries are categorised under three tiers: Tier 1 is for children’s nurseries with a prize value up to £2,500; Tier 2 is for educational establishments with less than 300 students and has a prize value up £7,500; and Tier 3, with the prize value of up to £10,000, is for schools or colleges with over 301 students.

“The risk landscape is rapidly evolving in Education – online as well as on-premise, and providing a safe learning and working environment is now at the core of schools’ and colleges’ mission” comments Matthew Marriott, General Manager for STANLEY Security Great Britain. “Having cost-effective, reliable and flexible security in place – and supported by the right service partner – will not only contribute to the duty of care that educational institutions owe to their staff and pupils; it will also help them refocus resources and time on educational needs.”
